Embark on an extraordinary 11-day journey through the heart of Morocco, specially curated to coincide with one of nature's most spectacular events: the 2027 Total Solar Eclipse. On the 2nd of August 2027, you will stand on the sweeping sands of Achakar Beach near Tangier, watching as the moon obscures the sun and plunges the Atlantic coastline into a surreal, golden twilight. This rare celestial phenomenon sets the stage for a truly unforgettable Moroccan adventure, perfectly balancing astronomical wonder with deep cultural immersion.
Beyond the eclipse, this comprehensive tour invites you to unravel the captivating contrasts of Morocco's imperial cities and coastal havens. You will wander through the picturesque, blue-washed alleys of Chefchaouen, step back in time within the bustling, 9,000-alley maze of the Fès el-Bali medina, and admire the architectural brilliance of the Hassan II Mosque in Casablanca. The journey culminates in the vibrant streets of Marrakech, where you will explore stunning palaces, tranquil botanical gardens, and the legendary, sensory-rich Jemaa el-Fna Square.
The route also showcases the breathtaking diversity of the Moroccan landscape. You will travel through the alpine charm of the Middle Atlas Mountains, navigate the dramatic Todra Gorge, and follow the legendary Road of a Thousand Kasbahs. A major highlight is your venture into the Sahara Desert, where you will take a sunset camel ride across the golden dunes of Erg Chebbi and spend a magical night beneath a star-filled sky in a traditional Berber camp. From ancient fortified villages like the UNESCO-listed Ksar of Aït Benhaddou to cinematic landscapes in Ouarzazate, this itinerary offers an unparalleled exploration of North Africa.
Throughout this journey, accommodation is provided in a carefully selected blend of 4 and 5-star hotels. To complete your authentic experience, you will also spend one unforgettable night under the vast Saharan sky in a traditional Berber desert camp, offering a perfect balance of relaxation and adventure.
